In my images toolkit, other awesome plugins : ebl-image-edit (Advanced Image Editing Plugin for Textpattern) , lam_dynamic_image (Enables images (article & regular) to be resized and displayed on-the-fly), smd_random_banner (Random image or file chosen by category/text/article field).
